DELIVERY and WITHDRAWAL
Items are only delivered within FRANCE METROPOLITAINE and BELGIUM to the address indicated by the Customer when placing the order.
Items are delivered by a specialized national carrier or any other independent carrier chosen by GREEN IDEAS within an average of 1 to 3 weeks* in mainland France. These delivery times are given as an indication only and begin upon receipt of payment by our bank. In no event shall GREEN IDEAS be held liable for exceeding these lead times, nor shall GREEN IDEAS be entitled to terminate the contract or to claim any compensation from the customer.
*Currently, the time required to prepare and hand over the order to the carrier is between 1 and 3 weeks, plus 1 week for shipment by the carrier. Our complete solar kits are delivered to your home by appointment. If you have any special requirements (not before/after a certain date), please specify them when you place your order. In the absence of indications to the contrary, MonKitSolaire reserves the right to deliver at any time between 1 and 3 weeks.
Note: Please be present at the delivery appointment with the carrier. In the event of absence from a scheduled appointment, re-delivery charges will be applied by the carrier.
The customer must check the condition of the goods on delivery. Any anomaly concerning delivery (damaged packages, missing items, etc.) must be reported to the carrier. At the same time, the customer must inform the carrier of any such anomaly by sending a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 7 days of the date of delivery, setting out the aforementioned complaints, which must be substantiated and accompanied by supporting documents.
The customer must send a copy of this letter to GREEN IDEAS within the same 7-day period following the date of delivery, to the following address: GREEN IDEAS, LONDON PARK / 60 RUE DE LONDRES - BÂTIMENT 6 - 59800 LILLE.
Once these deadlines have passed and if these formalities have not been complied with, the items will be deemed to be in conformity and free from any apparent defect, and no claim will be validly accepted by GREEN IDEAS.
If necessary, the customer shall return the damaged parcel in its original packaging at his own expense. Upon receipt, GREEN IDEAS will proceed, at the customer's option, with an exchange if the product is available in stock or with a refund of the defective item if it is not damaged.
Transport costs EXCLUDE towns and areas difficult to access (mountains, difficult access or access restricted by the municipality served) by lorry over 18 tons. Additional charges, sometimes substantial, will be applied on quotation after order to cover the extra cost of our carriers. The customer will have the right to withdraw from the order and be reimbursed in full in the event of refusal of the additional transport quote.
If the order is collected from the warehouse, the customer is responsible for loading the order into his vehicle. If our teams need to intervene, a surcharge of €29 (incl. VAT) may apply.
In the case of an order including items requiring a prior declaration to the town hall, the Customer may order and pay for the contents of his basket before making the prior declaration. In this case, Monkitsolaire offers two options, at the Customer's choice and request:
Monkitsolaire keeps the merchandise until acceptance of the prior declaration at the town hall, notified by the Customer. Upon acceptance of the prior declaration, the goods are dispatched in accordance with the general delivery conditions below.
The customer sends us by e-mail or post his “agreement to dispatch the goods before obtaining acceptance of the prior declaration at the town hall”, thereby assuming all inherent costs.
In the event of refusal of the prior declaration, Monkitsolaire offers a full refund of the order amount at no extra cost within 3 working days, at the Customer's request.
Monkitsolaire sends the goods directly after the order, according to normal delivery conditions.
In the event of refusal of the prior declaration, Monkitsolaire offers a full refund of the order amount within 3 working days, but leaves the Customer responsible for the cost of returning the goods. The refund will be made upon receipt of the merchandise by Monkitsolaire.
Additional charges may apply to your order in the following situations:
Delivery to Corsica and the French islands off the coast of mainland France: a surcharge of +110€ TTC for kits with fewer than 8 solar panels and +210€ TTC for kits with more than 8 panels.
Delivery to Monaco: For all our solar kits delivered to Monaco, a surcharge of +110€ incl. VAT will be applied.
Delivery to high mountains: A surcharge of +110€ inc. tax applies to all deliveries to high mountains.
For Luxembourg, a surcharge of +39€ applies to all home deliveries.
2nd presentation fee: A surcharge of +80€ (incl. VAT) will be invoiced if a second presentation is required.
Absence during a scheduled delivery: If you are not present during the scheduled delivery and the new delivery is not rescheduled within 6 days, the cost of returning the goods to our warehouse will be charged to you, as well as the cost of the new delivery.
Non-accessible 18-tonne zone: If your delivery zone is not accessible to 18-tonne vehicles, the carrier may apply a surcharge of +110€ (incl. VAT).
Delivery outside delivery hours (9am-4pm): For all deliveries made outside the carrier's delivery hours, a surcharge of +140€ (incl. VAT) may be applied.
International deliveries, EU zone: Delivery charges for international deliveries within the EU zone will be quoted, please contact us.
These charges may also apply even if the customer has been offered free delivery.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with the provisions of article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has a cooling-off period of 14 clear days from the date of delivery to exercise the right to return and cancel his order. This period is extended to 30 days under the “satisfied or reimbursed” guarantee. This period begins on the date of the delivery receipt. This right of return and cancellation may concern all or part of the order. The customer simply needs to inform GREEN IDEAS by e-mail at contact@monkitsolaire.fr within 14 days or 30 days as indicated above following receipt of the goods, and to return the items for which he/she is exercising the right of withdrawal, in their original condition, with original labels, original packaging and invoice, to the following address: GREEN IDEAS, Port fluvial de Lille, 2ème avenue / porte 5 et 6, 59000 Lille.
The cost of shipping the returned items to GREEN IDEAS and, where applicable, of customs clearance will be borne by the customer, unless the items delivered are subject to apparent defects. Once the withdrawal form has been sent to GREEN IDEAS, the customer must return the product(s) concerned to GREEN IDEAS within a reasonable time and, at the latest, within 14 days of informing GREEN IDEAS of the customer's decision to withdraw. All orders for services already begun must be paid for in full (services and administrative formalities, installation by our installers).
Reimbursement will be made by crediting the Customer's bank account as soon as possible, and at the latest within 30 days of the date on which the Customer's right of withdrawal was exercised, in accordance with Article L. 121-20-1 of the French Consumer Code.
